Recording Invoice Details in Hubspot

Once you have created an invoice in Xero, you need to record the invoice details on each related line item on the relevant school deal in Hubspot. NB. An invoice may be related to one line item OR multiple line items. If related to multiple line items, the details need to be recorded for each line item.

 

Recurring vs non-recurring revenue

We track our expected annual revenue, broken down into recurring vs non-recurring revenue so we can measure churn, as well as our one-off revenue year-to-year.

 

Digital subscriptions will be recurring revenue, while print textbooks are typically one off purchases, although some schools will have this as part of their recurring revenue.
