Guide: When to Move a Message/Email to the Relevant Team Inbox
Content Team
Assign to the Content Team for queries related to Mathspace content, including:
- Questions about solutions or explanations
- Answers marked incorrect
- Errors identified by teachers in questions or lessons
- Requests for specific textbook content

Development Team
Assign to the Development Team if the issue appears to be technical.
- Create a support ticket/card
- Include clear steps to reproduce the issue
- Note any troubleshooting steps you’ve already taken to confirm it is a bug
Finance/Accounting Team
Assign to Finance/Accounting for:
- Remittance or payment advice received via email
If you notice a number of people are having the same issue, it suggests there might be a bug for the developers to investigate. Just go straight to trying to reproduce the problems.
Note: If the issue is suspected to be impacting a significant number of users (e.g Mathspace is down and users can't access the site), support should report a production incident.
