Curtin Uni Accounts

For Curtin University, pre-service teachers (with a Curtin Uni email address: @student.curtin.edu.au) will request accounts. Please set these up as teacher accounts in the backend. Follow the steps below, and refer to the video for guidance:

It's best to search for the account first before sending an invite.

 

For new users:
  1. Navigate to the Curtin University school account in the backend (ID: 1344).
  2. Click the Teachers in Curtin University link.
  3. Search for the admin account.
  4. Impersonate the account.
  5. Use the Invite Teacher feature.
  6. Use the snippet in HubSpot to respond to the pre-service teacher.

 

 

For users who already have an existing account (i.e., they signed up for a freemium/free account):
  1. On the freemium account, scroll down and change the School ID to 1344.
  2. Tick the “Can access all students” box and click Save.
  3. Open the old school in a new tab, then deactivate it and merge it with the paid school, and click Save.
  4. Open the freemium class in a new tab, change the School ID, and click Save.
  5. Click the Students link to check whether there are any students who also need to be moved to the paid school.
  6. If there are, update their School ID accordingly.
  7. You can always impersonate the account to confirm that everything worked correctly.
