Common Login Issue
Check if the school has SAML SSO enabled:
- Yes: Verify the student’s email in Mathspace matches the email in the class settings. Check for typos or mismatches that may be affecting SSO login.
- No: Request a screenshot of the error message. Advise the teacher or student to try resetting the password.
If the issue persists after troubleshooting, escalate to Support for further investigation.
For Support:
- Check for duplicate accounts (student may have multiple emails/accounts)
- Confirm the correct school is linked to the student’s account
- Verify SSO configuration is correctly set up for the school (if applicable)
- Test login access internally (if possible) to replicate the issue
